I am a senior HR consultant and specialise in employee relations work for employers. My approach is always to work flexibly with managers to meet business needs and to work to minimise stress for both employers and employees. I have worked with small companies with just three employees and large organisations with over 3,000 employees.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I am also a non-practising solicitor having almost 15 years post qualification experience working as a litigation solicitor in the public, private and voluntary sectors. I have been a lay member of the Employment Tribunals since 1999 and continue to sit regularly.

I have been specialising in HR issues since 2007. As well as having good employment law knowledge, I am experienced in dealing with the management of change, re-organisations, TUPE transfers, conducting statutory consultations and negotiating with staff and trade unions. I am able to conduct, or support managers conducting, employee relations cases involving disciplinary issues, grievances, poor performance or sickness absence.

I am currently based in Bristol but able to travel anywhere in the country.
